Last week we celebrated new releases with our Fall Preview (check it out here if you missed it): five whole days with over 20 new titles recommended. While that’s a lot of books and your TBR pile for fall may be filling up faster than your dinner plate at Thanksgiving, we aren’t quite finished.For the month of October we’ll be featuring a selection of new titles, from poetry to fiction to non-fiction, that all have one thing in common: they are first books.The first published book for an author is a very special thing; obviously for the writer, but for the reader as well. As a reader, isn’t it a joy to discover a new writer you connect with?
