National Poetry Month 2026: Poets Resist

This National Poetry Month on All Lit Up, Poets Resist. In a month-long act of resistance, 21 featured poets remind us that poetry can push back against forces that marginalize voices, erase stories, and impose control over how we live and imagine. Their words remind us that reading poetry can be a small but meaningful way of resisting: slowing down, paying attention, and making space for those whose stories are not always centred. Join us this April as we share interviews and readings that celebrate community and the power of poetry.
