~ We got treed up this Canada Day with a collection of forested covers. ~ Goodbye Horses (Mansfield Press): “I wanted the poems to sound authentic, so I didn’t use any pop culture signifiers…”~ Zolitude (Biblioasis) and chatted with Fiction Editor John Metcalf about acquiring and publishing the book: “The language was charged. Finger-in-light-socket material. It gave off sparks.”~ Obviously our summer includes reading, but which books are we taking with us on our beach-y adventures?
