More information: Join us on Tuesday, September 5th as Jonah Campbell launches his second book, Eaten Back to Life. Campbell will be in conversation with famous talking head and author of This is a Book about the Kids in the Hall, John Semley.
And because, as we well know, wine without literature is a ghost, literature without wine a corpse (or vice versa?), wine vibes will be provided by GRAPE WITCHES, with snacks by Scout Canning for snacks!

More information: No two curries are the same. In Curry: Eating, Reading, and Race, Naben Ruthnum asks why the dish is supposed to represent everything brown people eat, read, and do. Using familial recipes and popular literary examples, Ruthnum cracks open anew the staid narrative of an authentically Indian diasporic experience. 
Whet your appetite with a spicy reading, have a rich Q&A for desert, and satisfy your cravings for more by taking a signed book home (doggy bag not included). Special guests include Kevin Chong and Adèle Barclay.

Saturday, September 9th

More information: We have some very exciting changes to announce!!
A new location – The Tiki Room of the Tranzac Club
A new time – the Salons will now start at 12:30 and end at 3:30
A new day – the Salons will now be held on the SECOND Saturday of the month.
The venue is totally accessible, and while there is no food menu, you are welcome to bring your own lunch or buy it from one ot the many restaurants along Bloor Street.
We are asking that you purchase beverages from the bar (alcoholic or not) as we have graciously been waived the rental fee for the room in lieu of the acquisition of liquid libation.
Many, many thanks to Brenda Clews who was very intrusmental in making this happen, and who will be reading from Tidal Fury.
We look forward to seeing you on September 9th!!! 12:30 in The Tiki Room at the Tranzac!
