An evening of Indigenous Literature and Music
Where: Gallery 101 51 B Young Street, Ottawa, ONWhen: 7-11pmMore information: As a part of National Aboriginal Day Celebrations, the Asinabka Festival Presents an evening of Indigenous Literature & Music.This event will feature readings by invited authors, including a discussion and Q&A about their work, and the hard and important truths of Indigenous writing. This will be followed by musical performances, and an open mic inviting guests to share their own writing. Features a book launch of Wrist by Nathan Adler. Readings by Waubgeshig Rice, Gwen Benaway, Vera Wabegijig, Moe Clark.
Cash bar, free food/snacks
Doors: 7pm / Readings: 7:30pm
PWYC/ $5-10 suggested donation
