Freehand Books was established in 2007 with a very simple mandate: to publish excellent Canadian literature. They’ve gone on to publish an aesthetically diverse, award-winning list of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction from both established authors and exciting new voices from all across Canada. Freehand prides themselves on their careful attention to detail throughout the editorial process, the high production quality and innovative design of their titles, and their creativity in the marketing and promotion of each book.
