FOUNDED ON PROGRESSIVE THOUGHT AND ACTION.

Publishing powerful and eloquent voices from manifold histories. ARP Books began in 1996 through the work of a group of activists in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We have published a bold combinations of titles with an emphasis on progressive political analysis and innovative new writing for the past 23 years.

Eclectic and engaging, we are an amplifier for some of the most exciting contemporary literary and academic writings on Indigenous issues, environmental issues, politics, and social justice, activism, art, poetry, and importantly—the ways that these things intersect. Our books are critically acclaimed and beautifully made with an eye to the connection between the form (whether it's a paper book or ebook) and its content.

Our authors are world-renowned academics, first-time novelists, community activists, artists, musicians, and established writers from all over Canada who share our firm belief that the written word can change the world. We are proud of our catalogue of books— books we hope will challenge, assist, entertain, and provoke you.
