Cozy Fest: Lucy E.M. Black + A Quilting of Scars

Step back in time with Lucy E.M. Black’s latest novel, A Quilting of Scars (Now or Never Publishing), which follows Larkin Beattie, a queer youth coming of age under the strict moral codes of his rural community. Navigating loneliness, fear, and the hope of belonging, Larkin’s story echoes forward, resonating with questions of identity and acceptance.

Get cozy with Lucy as she reads an excerpt of Larkin reflecting on his sense of otherness and confusion during moments of community gathering and celebration.
