What is Cozy Fest?

For the last couple of holiday seasons, we’ve rejected the hustle and bustle in favour of a moment – or many moments – of literary calm. This on-demand literary festival is perfect for you to catch a literary reading in the middle of holiday errands, snuggled up on the sofa in the evening, or hiding from relatives at a hectic meal (it happens).

Our eighteen readers join up from beside their fireplaces, wrapped up in blankets, and by the fire of candlelight to read passages from their books that spark hope, resilience, kindness, and comfort.

The readings are all available on demand on our YouTube channel right now, and we encourage you to take them in at whatever pace suits you best. Or, come back here every day for features on our reading authors and their books (keep scrolling for the full Cozy Fest schedule).

How can I participate?

In addition to catching the Cozy Fest readings, you can chat about Cozy Fest on social media with the hashtag #ALUcozyfest, and shop the featured books below.
