Chappy Hour: Raspberry White Russian + Correspondent

With a berry-twist on a traditional cocktail, ALU mixologist Tan Light presents our tastebuds with a tall drink of  Raspberry White Russian, echoing the metropolitan locations in Dominique Bernier-Cormier’s debut Correspondent(Goose Lane Editions). The Cocktail

What You Need:
  • 3 fresh raspberries
  • ice cubes**
  • 1 oz  heavy cream
  • 1 oz Chambord or raspberry cordial
  • 1 oz vodka or still tonic water
** Place a single fresh raspberry in the middle of each cube,  top with water. Freeze overnight until solid.What to Do:
  1. Muddle raspberries in the bottom of your shaker.
  2. Add ice to shaker. *See note about raspberry ice
  3. Pour cream, Chambord, and vodka over ice.
  4. Shake well to combine, pour over muddled raspberries.
