War – it is a word that invokes many images, many emotions, and for a growing population, many memories. Vancouver creatives Julie Emerson and Roxanna Bikadoroff use war as the inspiration for their new collaboration, Twenty Seven Stings (New Star Books). Emerson’s poignant poetry is illustrated with Bikadoroff’s intense imagery.
