Chappy Hour: A New York Sour for A Temporary Stranger

Jamie Reid’s final collection, A Temporary Stranger (Anvil Press) was published posthumously this summer. At the book launch and memorial, a great deal of red wine was consumed in Jamie’s honour. And while the Red Wine Hot Chocolate we featured in February would make a great pairing, I was recently introduced to the more complex New York Sour, which incorporates a red wine float for an eye-catching cocktail.
