Besner Neil

Critic, editor, review and translator Neil Besner was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1949 and currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He teaches at the University of Winnipeg and has edited numerous literary anthologies. His critical works include Carol Shields: The Arts of a Writing Life and The Light of Imagination: Mavis Gallant’s Fiction.
