Allan P. Baynes

Al Bayne is the former director of Wild-Wise, where he continues to lead canoe trips and do volunteer work. Wild-Wise is a wilderness canoe program that serves people of all abilities and is operated by Manitoba Pioneer Camp. Al also teaches a course called Wilderness Leadership at Providence College. He took his first canoe trip at age 38, and it ended up being a life-changing experience. He lives with his wife Barbara in southern Manitoba.
