Edmonton On Location describes the heartbeat of this vibrant city, from parks and back alleys to the High Level Bridge and North Saskatchewan River.

Heather Zwicker

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Heather Zwicker has lived in Honolulu, New York City, San Francisco and Mzumbe, Tanzania, but she always comes back to Edmonton. A professor of English at the University of Alberta, she has taught cultural studies courses on the city during the Edmonton Centennial, she served as an adjudicator for the Edmontonians of the Century competition. This book grew from her love of urban history and her desire to give voice to diverse perspectives on Edmonton. She lives in the neighbourhood of Inglewood with her partner and two cats.
