A Moose Goes a-Mummering

In this Newfoundland “Twelve Days of Christmas,” Chris Moose loves to go mummering. But everyone, from 2 giggling geese to 12 blushing beavers, see through his festive costume. With bobbles, lights and garlands, Chris’ disguise grows more and more elaborate until he begins to wonder if he will ever find a way to keep his true identity from his friends!

David Sturge is a graphic designer and illustrator who was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland where he currently resides. He studied commercial art and graphic design at The College of The North Atlantic. David has previously illustrated, On Poppy’s Beach (Creative, 2013).

Lisa Dalrymple loves to travel and has lived in such countries as South Korea, Thailand and Scotland. She now lives with her husband and their three children in Fergus, Ontario. If It’s No Trouble… A Big Polar Bear(Creative 2012) is her first published book. Her story Skink on the Brink won The Writers’ Union of Canada’s Writing for Children Competition in 2011. It is due to be released as a picture book by Fitzhenry & Whiteside in 2013.
