About The Author

Maria Cristina Seccia

Dr. Maria Cristina Seccia is a lecturer in Italian Studies at Bangor University (UK), where she completed a PhD in Translation Studies in 2014. Her doctoral thesis explores the link between the notion of cultural translation and Italian-Canadian literature from a practice-led perspective. It has her own Italian translation of Caterina Edwards’ The Lion’s Mouth as the main case study.
