Born to backpacking ski bums in the eighties, Janine Alyson Young read every appropriate book in her town’s library before age eleven. She attends the MFA program in Creative Writing at UBC and lives with her husband and son on the Sunshine Coast, where she runs a taco stand with an architect. Her work has appeared in This Side of West. Hideout Hotel is her debut collection.
