About The Author

Hélène Sévigny

Hélène Sévigny is a Montreal lawyer, journalist, and author. Intrigued by the curious and glaring contradictions in the media coverage of the Oka Crisis in 1990, she managed to gain access to Ronald Cross in prison, where he was serving the first eleven months of his sentence, prior to being granted bail. While Lasagna: The Man Behind the Mask is based on Sévigny’s original French language publication, it was supplemented with additional background material and updated to reflect the events of 1993 and 1994.
