Anatomy of Road Trip Reading

Road trips are a great way to spend your summer holidays with friends or family, seeing destinations that are (mostly) close to home. However much fun it can be to turn the music up loud and feel the wind in your hair, you’ll inevitably have to deal with at least a few of the following: traffic, desperately needing a rest stop with none in sight, backseat squabbles, having to defend your choice in music, car sickness, sitting in a stinking hot car waiting for the AC to kick in, and, oh yeah, longs hours spent inside a small metal box. If you’re heading out on a road trip during these last few weeks before fall begins to settle in, we’ve put together a few possible scenarios that may help you whittle down your all important book selections as you pack.
