Summer in the publishing world tends to mean things slow down, that there is a break of sorts between the crop of titles that came in the spring and the fall season that leads into the bustling holidays. While there may not be as many titles published in the summer, many people actually get more time to read – between flights to exotic locales, lazy days on the beach, or just sitting with a cold beverage on the back deck, it’s possible to get in some good stretches of reading time.
