READ INDIGENOUS: Making space for Indigenous Authors
October 1, 2018
Recently, All Lit Up got an exciting new addition:
Indigenous Litspace, a site that highlights the ever-growing list of Indigenous authors and books we're lucky enough to read, talk about, and share with you. To make more space for these incredible and essential writers, we're showcasing work by Indigenous authors across all genres—from fiction to poetry to drama to non-fiction—all October long. We'll share excerpts from all of the featured books so you can sample a variety of work and discover new authors. Scroll down to see what's coming up this month.
PLUS: we're giving away this super rad limited-run tote bag featuring colourful artwork from four Indigenous visual artists (Kaya Joan, Alan Syliboy, Dawn Oman, and Lauren Crazybull) with ANY of these book purchases until supplies last.
All Lit Up is produced by the Literary Press Group and LitDistCo. LPG and LitDistCo acknowledge the financial support of the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Ontario Arts Council.

All Lit Up acknowledges we are hosted on the lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat. We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and the Inuit people, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to meet and work on this territory.
