~ We polled authors and publishers to snoop their favourite summertime reading spots.~ Jessica Mitton’s new cookbook Some Good.~ We chatted with Freehand Books publisher Kelsey Attard about the process of publishing The Figgs.~ We were taken by storm in Read This, Then That pairing two novels that centre on the Hurricane Hazel: Jeanette Lynes’ The Small Things that End the World (Coteau Books) and Mark Sinnett’s The Carnivore (ECW Press).~ Because we love a good coming-of-age novel, we turned our attention to David Kingston Yeh’s debut fiction A Boy at the Edge of the World (Guernica Editions).
