Kathleen S. Schmitt

Kathleen S. Schmitt has authored three volumes of Seasons of the Feminine Divine: Christian Feminist Prayers. She has published short stories and poetry in literary magazines and anthologies, as well as the novel Conversations with Amelia, and the young adult novel, Getting a Life. A retired Anglican Priest, Kathleen served for three years in the parish of Santisima Trinidad in San Martín, El Salvador.Magnificat: Song of Justice is based on the author’s interest in the concept of a female Christ figure in the context of liberation theology, and her post-war volunteerism in El Salvador in the 1980s.
