Andrea Nicki

Andrea Nicki was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Queen’s University at Kingston. For several years, she has taught courses in philosophy and critical thinking at colleges and universities in Canada and the U.S. She was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Bioethics at the University of Minnesota. Her poetry and essays have appeared in several journals and anthologies, including Rampike and Sinister Wisdom. She currently resides in Vancouver where she writes, teaches, and paints.
