This week our book club got real chatty about China, love, and translation and stepped up our London, ON knowledge (did you know Kim Mitchel’s song “Patio Lanterns” wasn’t named after the dangling bulbs on the patio of  a favourite bar?!).

What Else We’re Reading

Fans of Kelley Armstrong’s crime thrillers might find a surprise hit in D.K. Stone’s Edge of Wild (Stonehouse Publishing).You’ll be taken to a remote Northern setting where our protag investigates a murder (and maybe finds romance in the snow). It’s a little cozier than Armstrong’s latest series, but has just enough chills to take the edge off this heat-wave.
