Fans of Kelley Armstrong’s crime thrillers might find a surprise hit in D.K. Stone’s Edge of Wild (Stonehouse Publishing).You’ll be taken to a remote Northern setting where our protag investigates a murder (and maybe finds romance in the snow). It’s a little cozier than Armstrong’s latest series, but has just enough chills to take the edge off this heat-wave.
