~ We continued on with week three of our (Women’s) Writer’s Block series for Women’s History Month with Soraya Roberts. Any one from the Catalano Generation will definitey want to check it out!~ We’re getting our drink mixing skillz in order for our Halloween IFOA party next Tuesday (one), and Tan, our resident mixologist is showing us all up with an ALU original recipe, 75 Opals, for this month’s Chappy Hour~ We did a deep dive of two awesome new books this week: first, Thistledown helped us imagine the movie cast for Rea Tarvydas’ new short story collection in Character Study, then Playwrights Canada Press introduced us to the work of Johnnie Walker with his first published play, Redheaded Stepchild, in this week’s First Fiction Fridays
