Bookfest Windsor is South Western Ontario’s only annual literary festival. Attracting an avid reading audience from both sides of the border, Bookfest Windsor partners with the Capitol Theatre, The Art Gallery of Windsor, Arcite, and the University of Windsor to host a series of unique literary and artistic author readings, panel discussions, and more.

Pitch the Publisher: An opportunity to pitch your book live to a panel of publishers — featuring Atlantic-based Creative Book Publishing. Pitch sessions are organized by literary genres: one for non-fiction ideas at 12:00 p.m., one for children’s and young adult book ideas at 1:15 p.m., and one for fiction and poetry ideas at 2:30 p.m. The expert panel will offer suggestions and feedback on how to develop your book ideas or manuscripts for publication.

This year, the major festival takes place from October 14-19, and features more than 85 writers from both the local and international stage at more than 65 events.
