Catherine Hunter is a poet and novelist from Winnipeg. Her most recent poetry collection, St. Boniface Elegies, won the Lansdown Poetry Prize and was a finalist for the Governor General Literary Award, the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award, and the High Plains Poetry Book Award. For 30 years, Catherine enjoyed the best day job in the world, teaching creative writing at the University of Winnipeg, and she is now enjoying retirement. Her books have been nominated for many awards, and her essays, reviews, poems, and stories have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.
