Morris Lukowich played with his childhood heroes Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull, helped lead the Winnipeg Jets to the AVCO Cup and then became an NHL captain a couple of years later. His transformation to life after hockey was fraught with PTSD, financial troubles and thoughts about suicide. Unlike many players who reach such depths, Lukowich was able to pull himself out of it.
