July 16, 2014

In Character Study, we'll take a deeper look at one character from a book or series. Get to know the character--what they like, what they do, and, more importantly, what they read. If you like them, spend a little more time getting to know them by reading the book! Meet Thomas from New Tab (Vehicule Press) in our inaugural post.

Meet Thomas. He’s a 26-year-old (well, 27 actually) videogame designer. He’s also a social media addict, has a bit of social anxiety, and needs to find a new apartment. When he’s not ignoring the inspirational slogans at work he likes reading books like Herzog and Et Tu, Babe. He goes part-time to Concordia for creative writing, spending most of his time at work writing poetry instead of designing a new edition of Scrabble for your smart phone. With his new roommates he found on Craigslist, he likes going out and partying, occasionally dancing in his underwear (his roommates can’t believe he joined in; neither can he really), and hosting movie nights with his filmmaker friend in their backyard.

Find out more about Thomas in New Tab, the first novel by Guillaume Morissette, published by Vehicule Press.
