Poet Laureate Presents: Local Publishers

Where: Stevenson & Hunt Room, London Public Library – Central Branch, 251 Dundas Street, London, ON

More information: Come and learn about some of London’s great local publishers and the writers they publish, both digitally and in print. London’s Poet Laureate, Tom Cull, will host this evening featuring live readings of local poetry and literature, and live music from the London Arts Council’s London Arts Live program.

Presenters include: Kate Cayley (Brick Books), Tara McGowan-Ross (Insomniac Press), and many more.

Toronto Comic Arts Festival

More information: TCAF is The Toronto Comic Arts Festival, taking place in 2017 at Toronto Reference Library and the surrounding Bloor/Yonge neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a celebration of comics and graphic novels and their creators, which culminates in a two-day exhibition and vendor fair featuring hundreds of comics creators from around the world. Other Festival events include readings, interviews, panels, workshops, gallery shows, art installations, and much more. Meet Me at the Aga Khan / Writers on Rights
