~ Margo LaPierre's Washing Off the Raccoon Eyes (Guernica Editions) goes well with a tequila cocktail. Check out a sample from the book and try our recipe for a Shady Lady.

~ Debut novel The Whole Beautiful World by Melissa Kuipers is Miriam Toews’ A Complicated Kindness meets Flannery O’Connor’s A Good Man Is Hard to Find.
