Freehand Books Spring Bash

Where: Dora Keogh Irish Pub, 141 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON

More information: Freehand Books is celebrating the launch of three first-rate works of fiction at the Dora Keogh Irish Pub (141 Danforth Ave, Toronto) on Tuesday, May 10 at 7pm. Stop by to hear readings from Catherine Cooper, author of White Elephant; Ian Colford, author of Perfect World; and Dr. John Bart, author of Middenrammers. In addition to the readings, there will be a Q&A and book signing. Ben McNally Books will be on hand to sell copies of all three books.

More information: The photography book No Flash, Please!: Underground Music in Toronto 1987-92 chronicles the rise of grunge and alternative music to Toronto's burgeoning scene in the late 1980's/early 90's. Fitting this launch is at the legendary music venue the Horseshoe Tavern!
