This Week in Lit Events: January 18-24th

January 18, 2016

Unlike that lazy groundhog, Canada-wide reading series are crawling out of their winter hidey-holes early to bring you great poets and novelists to listen to this week.

Are you hosting an event featuring an author whose titles are available on All Lit Up? Send the event details, including author, book, date, time, and address to   hello@alllitup.ca to be included in our listings.

Common Readings, January Edition

Where: Belljar Cafe, 2072 Dundas Street West, Toronto, ON

When: 8pm

More information: The time has come, the literary readings host said, to talk of many things...

January is a good month to be cool. It's also a good time to drag your sorry keister out from under that pathetic pile of blankets and oreos and netflix marathons to get back into hot city kulchur!

This month's lineup of readers – Sarah Henstra, Ewan White, and Emma Healey – is the perfect cure for winter blues, even an unusally temperate winter (knock on wood)--fiction, poetry, translations, we've got it all!

& I hear that the Belljar promises some amazing new cocktails! Come for the words and the wine!
