Books that Defy Stereotype

Where: Book Warehouse Main Street, 4118 Main Street, Vancouver, BC

When: 7pm

More information: Freddy has problems. Some of them are because he has autism. But most of them are because he’s a teenager.

Abigail is resisting what seems to be an inevitable future for a woman in 1885. Then she buys a rifle, and everything changes.

Join local author Aaron Cully Drake ( Do You Think this is Strange?) and visiting author Cinda Gault ( This Godforsaken Place) to learn how a seventeen-year-old with autism and a pioneer woman with a gun will change what you thought you knew.

Free. Hosted by Book Warehouse and Brindle & Glass.
